Website terms of use
Last revised: 12 October 2026
1. Who operates this website
This website is operated by Bodhi Group Limited, trading as The Bodhi Group, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16232754. Our registered office is 91–97 Saltergate, Chesterfield, England, S40 1LA. You can contact us at hello@bodhigroup.co.uk or write to our registered office.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the website operator. References to The Bodhi Clinic, Sophia or another group business do not by themselves identify the legal entity providing a particular service. The responsible provider will be identified in the information and agreement for that service.
2. Scope of these terms
These terms explain the permitted use of this website and the limits of its general information. Please read them alongside our Privacy Notice. They do not replace a clinical assessment, informed consent process, patient agreement, admission contract or separate digital service terms.
Visiting the website or sending an enquiry does not itself create a treatment relationship, reserve a place, confirm eligibility or commit you to buying a service. Any care, assessment or paid service requires separate arrangements with the relevant provider. These terms do not override information or commitments that are binding under applicable law.
3. General health information
Health, addiction, recovery and wellbeing information on this website is general information. It is not a diagnosis, prescription, personalised treatment plan or assessment of your circumstances. Seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional before making decisions about your health or treatment. Do not delay seeking care, change prescribed medication or attempt detoxification on the basis of website content.
4. Emergencies and urgent concerns
This website and its enquiry forms are not an emergency or crisis service. Do not rely on a form submission or email for an urgent response. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E. In England, if you need urgent help and it is not an emergency, contact NHS 111. Outside the UK, use your local emergency or urgent healthcare service.
5. Enquiries and referrals
Please provide accurate contact details and only the information needed for your enquiry. A submission acknowledgement confirms receipt only; it does not confirm a clinical review, acceptance for treatment or an appointment. If a form reports an error, do not assume that your message has reached us.
Please do not send detailed medical records, identity documents or another person’s confidential information through a general enquiry form. Ask us how to provide information securely. If you contact us for someone else, make sure you have their permission or another lawful basis and appropriate authority to share their information. We may need to clarify your authority before discussing their circumstances.
Sending an enquiry is not consent to treatment and does not subscribe you to marketing. Any separate consent that is needed will be requested for the relevant purpose. Nothing in these terms removes confidentiality obligations or prevents lawful safeguarding action or disclosures required by law.
6. Services availability and outcomes
Service descriptions explain the intended nature of our services. Availability, suitability and access depend on the relevant service, an appropriate assessment and any necessary regulatory authorisations. Proposed facilities, opening dates or services must be identified as proposed where they are not yet available. Contact the relevant provider for current information before making arrangements.
Individual experiences and outcomes vary. Descriptions, case studies and testimonials do not guarantee a particular result. Any price, package, admission or cancellation arrangements will be explained in the applicable service information and agreement before you commit. These terms do not remove rights arising from statements on which you are legally entitled to rely.
7. CQC and professional regulation
The Care Quality Commission regulates relevant health and adult social care activities in England. A reference to a group brand, clinic or proposed service on this website is not evidence that every group entity or activity is CQC registered. Registration and any rating relate to the particular provider, location and activities concerned.
Where we publish regulatory information, it must identify the relevant service and accurately reflect its status. Any applicable CQC rating and inspection information should be read with the linked official CQC record. Care requiring registration must only be provided within the relevant provider’s lawful registration and conditions. Website terms cannot authorise a regulated activity or limit a regulator’s powers.
8. Sophia and other digital services
Information about Sophia or another digital product on this website describes that product; it does not grant access, establish clinical supervision or promise continuous monitoring. Access, where offered, is subject to the applicable eligibility arrangements, service terms, privacy information and instructions.
Do not rely on website descriptions, demonstrations, automated outputs or wearable information as a substitute for professional advice or emergency assistance. No emergency monitoring or response should be assumed unless it is expressly included in an agreed service. This does not reduce any duty owed by a provider that has undertaken to supply such a service.
These website terms do not determine whether software is a medical device, authorise experimental treatment or provide consent for research. Where relevant, separate regulatory assessment, clinical safeguards and informed consent are required.
9. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is used and how you can exercise your rights. Health information needs particular protection. These terms do not amount to blanket consent to use health information, disclose it to others, send marketing or use information for research, product development or training AI systems.
Where cookies or similar technologies require consent, the relevant information and choice must be provided before they are used. Continuing to browse or accepting these terms is not, by itself, consent to those technologies. Any applicable choices must be available through the website’s cookie controls.
10. Website content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, rights in the website’s text, design, images, branding and other content belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use, keeping copyright notices and the meaning of the content intact. You may also use content as otherwise permitted by law.
You must obtain permission before commercially reusing our content or branding. Do not present altered health information as our advice or imply our endorsement of your organisation, product or service without authorisation.
11. Acceptable use and external links
Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, disrupt its operation, impersonate another person or submit unlawful, abusive or misleading material. Do not collect or disclose another person’s personal information unlawfully. We may take proportionate steps to restrict misuse and protect the website and its users.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Those organisations control their own content and privacy arrangements. A link does not, by itself, mean that we endorse that organisation or accept responsibility for its services. This does not exclude responsibility that the law places on us.
12. Availability and accuracy
We take reasonable care with this website but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every item will always be current. Access may be affected by maintenance, technical faults or events outside our reasonable control. We may update content and correct errors. Please tell us if you find information that appears inaccurate or a feature that does not work.
This provision does not excuse misleading statements, remove legally binding commitments or reduce any duty of care we owe. Changes to website content do not retrospectively alter an existing service agreement.
13. Liability and your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes your statutory consumer rights, applicable data protection rights or rights relating to care and treatment.
Where we are legally responsible for loss or damage, our liability is determined under applicable law. These terms do not impose a financial cap, require you to waive clinical negligence claims or make you indemnify us for using the website. Statements that content is general information do not remove duties that arise from the actual services we provide.
14. Complaints accessibility and safeguarding
For a website concern, accessibility difficulty or request for information in another format, contact hello@bodhigroup.co.uk or write to our registered office. Please explain the page or issue and the help you need. Avoid including unnecessary medical details in an initial email.
A complaint about care should be raised with the relevant provider through its complaints process. These website terms do not restrict your right to complain, seek independent advice, contact a regulator or take legal action. They do not require you to keep a safety concern confidential. Use emergency services for immediate danger rather than the website complaints route.
15. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the website, our operations or the law. We will identify the revision date on the published page. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively reduce rights or change existing service contracts. Where a change requires notice or agreement under applicable law, we will follow that requirement.
16. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have jurisdiction, but this does not prevent consumers from using courts available to them under mandatory law or benefiting from mandatory protections in the country where they live. No provision requires you to give up a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
